If you don't want to pay $1K for a wand but want something reliable and that works well then look no further. I have owned a small owner-operated carpet cleaning business for 20 years. I have tried many different wands. I like this better than the 2" tube, 14" wide titanium one I bought years ago. Too often I have a small space to work in and the big wands are a pain. I have a van-mount machine with a roots 45 blower. I also use a portable Ninja for highrise work. This wand works well with both machines and is very easy to use/glides well. It has a good weight (not too much or too little). The hose is good quality. The valve is good also. Unless you were to get a defective one, this wand should work well for you for many years. I recommend it completely
